For foreign visitors ,“Arigatou Campaign” is underway!

As the initiative to retract tourists to Fukuoka, the City has implemented a project called “Thank you (Arigatou) Campaign" to show our appreciation to the visitors that are gradually returning to Japan since serious decline after the Great East Japan Earthquake.

One of the bright news after the disaster was that the cruise ship ”Legend  of  the Seas” came back to the Hakata Port since 3rd of Aug.

Cruise Ship passengers can receive Japanese fans with a design of campaign logo in traditional 5 colors.

Also, campaign badges are handed out at Tenjin and Hakata shopping district and sightseeing spots.

 

Campaign outline

Supported by; We Love Tenjin Conference, Hakata machizukuri Promotion Conference, Fukuoka Convention and Visitors Bureau, Fukuoka City.

 

Campaign period;

3rd of AUG,2011 – 31st of MAR,2012

 

Design shows two hands folded together, simbolizing the Japanese style bow with both hands held together on one's lap.

 

Contents (Subject to change without notice)

1 Giving badge at Tenjin and Hakata shopping district or sightseeing facilities.

2 Giving campaign fan specially for cruise ship passengers.

3 Showing campaign flags at Hakata port and Tenjin/Hakata district.
