“Fukuoka City Wi-Fi”,  free public Wi-Fi service improved its usability from 1st Aug, 2014.

 

  For security reasons, the users had to reconnect the Wi-Fi service every 15 minutes before. Now once they register the Wi-Fi service,  they don’t need to register again for 6 months because of the automatically connecting function.

 

  The service is expanding its usable area providing at 71 area and 325 access points in the city as of 1st Jul 2014.  For example, Agora Fukuoka Hilltop Hotel & Spa started to join “Fukuoka City Wi-Fi” on the lobby area from 1st Jul.
