The Symposium focuses on how Dr. Yunus’ model of social business could be employed to help recovery of the sustainable lifestyle of residents in Tohoku region, who are still suffering from the massive damage caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Welcoming Dr. Yunus who is also a recipient of Fukuoka Asian Culture Grand Prize in 2001, this symposium is expected to become a milestone for Fukuoka City residents in general, who seek the best way to take part in the extensive and long-term support for disaster victims.

All those who are interested, do join this session – free of charge – to share your ideas about how an individual can make a difference in tackling the uphill work of reconstruction, hand in hand with the people on site and also from overseas.
